A review of the steak marinade JL Kraft
Review: The World’s Greatest Cooking Pot With Strainer
I received this World’s Greatest Cooking Pot as a gift from my Mother in Law. As I previously mentioned, I LOVE kitchen gadgets but spending money on them….um, not so much. I recently decided to use this World’s Greatest Swivel Pot to make the pasta salad for the channel.
I must say a product named “World’s Greatest Swivel Pot” left me a bit underwhelmed. I’m not sure what I thought the product would do but it was fairly underwhelming. I did watch a few videos and it was supposed to be nice that it could easily swivel and you could pour out the water. Except for me, I use my pasta water. LOL!
I can see how this product would be beneficial for people are cleaning vegetables or fruit and for that it doesn’t get an all out 0 but it’s really about a 4 or 5 to me.
The swivel feature is just awkward. It feels as if the water is going to spill. And perhaps it doesn’t spill but it feels like it. I do intend to try this product again but for a first time use- it’s a meh. It wasn’t a wasted gift because I will use it but had I purchased this for myself I would be pretty disappointed. This is definitely not something you *have* to have in your kitchen.
The quality of the pot is pretty thin. I have calphalon pots and I’m used to the heaviness. This pot seemed really thin and cheap. I’m not sure it can withstand high high heats over a long period of time.
