Welcome

"A garden is a friend you can visit anytime." ~Okakura Kakuzo

Gardening was something I always wanted to do but never really seemed to get the “space” or time for it. A few years ago there was a huge sell on dirt in Home Depot. They were discontinuing this brand and were getting rid of all of their stock. The dirt was $.01 (yes A PENNY). I went to the management and told them I wanted all of the dirt. They said all of it. I said all of it…

I didn’t realize that how much dirt I purchased until I saw them come with the tractors to grab it all! I realized instantly I was in over my head. I called my husband who came with his truck. Then I filled up my car. 3 car trips later back and forth I had enough dirt to last me for 3 years. LOL!

I didn’t need to start buying dirt until just recently.

Gardening has been such a joy. And incredibly rewarding. Overnight it became this hobby that I just couldn’t get enough of. I started sharing my garden and people would ask me questions. And well…it became a thing. Every season from May to about October I am fully invested in my garden. I learn so much and it’s just really one of those things I enjoy to do. I track my entire gardening process so people can see all that goes into it but also the great rewards.

I’m always learning and sharing what I learn.

Come along with me.
