Gardening with Friends | How To Grow Vegetables in Containers

Gardening

I’m so excited to bring this new segment to my channel. It’s gardening season AROUND THESE PARTS! (as if you couldn’t tell by all of my videos and excitement).

The new segment is called Gardening with Friends! Just to explain what I’ll be doing: I will be interviewing people about their gardens. Some will be in person and some will be virtually (because they’ll be out of state). I want to show you how people are gardening. Sharing their wins (and failures). Showing off their gardens and their own creativity.

I’m really excited to share Crystal’s garden! Crystal and I went to and graduated from high school together. So you do your OWN math on how old we are! I am facebook friends with Crystal and she is always sharing her garden with photos as well as recipes and different items she’s made from herbs or vegetables in her garden. Basically…she’s me. LOL! So I knew she would be a perfect first guest for Gardening with Friends.

I really wanted to start talking to other gardeners so you all could get ideas on what you could do in your garden and to showcase gardeners in different zones.

Crystal gave some amazing tips, she even shared a live demonstration on planting in containers and showed us her garden. She has herbs, vegetables and fruit trees (spoiler alert: one is a peach tree because Georgia peaches). I even learned some things about container gardening and proper drainage.

This shows various vegetables grown in a container garden.

Crystal also hipped us to some products which I will link below:

SuperThrive Food as a fertilizer

Neem Oil for pest prevention and treatment

Check out the full video of our interview and comment below if you learned anything that you’re going to try in your own garden.
