This red velvet cake includes a secret tip that will make your red velvet POP!

Frenns! It’s been a long long…long time. A lot has happened in the past few weeks some not so good but a lot GREAT. But the NUMBER ONE THING that happened was I PUBLISHED My first E-book cookbook! I can’t believe I’m JUST now telling you guys when the truth is, I’ve been whispering it all along.

To tell you all the truth I had MAJOR imposter syndrome and talked myself into (and out of) announcing this book on my main page! Since I’ve got a little time let me tell you all the history of this book.

One holiday, I was at home wrecking my brain trying to learn and figure out a recipe. So I called my mom- I got PIECES of the recipe, then she told me to call my Grandmother. So I called my Grandmother, she fillibustered her way through the recipe and it was almost an upside down version of my mom’s recipe but it left out some ingredients- she told me “call your Mother.” I then called my Aunt, she started laughing and said “did your grandmother tell you to call me? I said no she told me call my mom who told me to call my grandmother…” and around and around I went. She ended up explaining the recipe and the technique to me. And eventually this happened to me so many times that I just flat out STOPPED asking. And vowed to write down recipes for myself.

I guess that’s the rebel in me, lol. I didn’t have time to give blood oaths and explain why I needed the recipe and all of that drama. I just made my own and made them better (HA!)

It was really important for me to share recipes that were NOT already posted on my cookbook (although there are a few, admittedly). This recipe includes the classic holiday recipes: fried chicken, fried turkey, sweet potato pie, red velvet cake, pound cake (with glaze)…yeast rolls (that take an hour to make) and SO MUCH MORE.

I have also included a hosting guide. I remember when I first started having events at my house I would be so discombobulated trying to cook, trying to decorate- it was all a bit much. I have tips and content to assist you in hosting all the way down to a table setting guide.

This book is my BABY! And I’m so proud of it. 53 pages cover to cover. I also have included instant pot recipes and traditional recipes. Most recipes even include tips and information to help you as your making the product (for my visual learners).

This week from December 18-December 24 the book that is regularly priced $20.00 is HALF OFF! Take advantage of this awesome sell. You can purchase in the store here.

Love ya frenn!
