Beef ribs And cheese grits

Ingredients
Ingredients for Beef Ribs

cream of celery

Guinness beer
garlic powder
seasoned salt
onion powder
olive oil

carrots

cups
beef broth
flour for dusting beef ribs
can
tomato paste (small)
Ingredients for grits

salt (for grits depends on amount)

water
1½
cups
cups of grits
½
cup
milk
1-2
tbsp
butter
Sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
Steps for ribs:
Pre-heat oven to 350
Bring beef ribs to room temperature
Season ribs to taste
Lightly flour
Place olive oil in pot and bring stove to medium heat
Place beef ribs in grease ensuring both sides are browned (only flip once)
Set aside beef ribs
Turn down heat on your stove top
Sauté carrots
Add tomato paste and stir
Add cream of celery
Then add beef ribs (it’s ok if they do not all fit in the bottom of the pot)
Add the beef broth
Add Guinness beer
Stir together
Place top on pot and place in the oven. Set timer for 2 hours.
Steps for grits
Bring water to a rolling boil.
Add salt. Stir then cover.
Then add milk
Stir slowly.
Add butter
Stir slowly.
Then if desired add sharp cheddar cheese.
Turn heat to lowest setting and stir occasionally.
Serve the beef ribs over the grits!

*You’ll know the beef ribs are ready when the meat is falling off of the bone.
